This is my first short film, created with limited knowledge and tools to fulfill a school assignment. From this experience, I developed an interest in continuing to make films and becoming a film director.
The film tells the story of a high school teenage girl who has a friend with a strong need for validation. The film strongly explores the themes of friendship loyalty and betrayal.

In this film, I became more certain that my true calling is to be a director. However, I still need to work as an assistant director first to deepen my understanding of directing. This was the first film project my friend and I made in film school with the most professional workflow we've ever done.

SUICIDE CALL

When everything started to run more smoothly, we gathered the courage to compete externally. That’s when this film was made, and my friend offered me the role of an actor because of my skills in understanding scene blocking from a director’s perspective. Thank God, the film made it to the TOP 10 of the INDODAX Film Festival.

The story follows a freelance worker who has lost his job, run out of money, lost his pet, been abandoned by his family, and is on the verge of suicide—until his friend tries to convince him not to end his life.

You could say this was my true directorial debut, as it was the first film I directed with a fully professional workflow. It was quite a large-scale project, involving many parties — we even collaborated with the West Java Provincial Mental Hospital and the Palma Rehabilitation Unit.

The film tells the story of a young man who gets caught up in a reckless lifestyle, specifically drug abuse. He is sent to a rehabilitation center with the support of his parents. Eventually, he loses hope of ever living a normal life again and becomes afraid of facing the outside world. But with the strength of family and friendship, nothing is impossible.

This film was initiated as an entry for an Islamic film festival. With the knowledge and skills I had developed by then, I took on the roles of both director and director of photography. Thank God, this film won an award in another competition — it made it into the Top 6 at the Winaction Short Movie Competition

The story follows a wealthy Muslim who is overwhelmed by a deep sense of unease. He doesn’t know exactly why he feels this way, but one thing is clear — his anxiety stems from his own wealth. A mysterious figure appears, offering both an explanation for his restlessness and a solution, delivered in a unique way: through fragments of photographic images.
