I wrote and directed Silih Asah, Silih Asih, Silih Rusuh, a satirical dark comedy that follows Tisna, the youngest and only seemingly rational member of a deeply dysfunctional family. While his father becomes consumed by online gambling, the rest of the family willingly indulges in the illicit money it generates, prioritizing luxury over their most basic needs. As debt collectors arrive as symbolic representations of the necessities the family has neglected, Tisna is forced into a desperate struggle to seize control of his father's bank account before everything spirals further into chaos. Through absurd situations and escalating family conflict, the film critiques the normalization of online gambling, greed, and moral decay, culminating in a tragic yet deeply ironic conclusion.
